Mkay, I've started reading Science of Discworld I just bought. I must say, I've expected something light and nice in usual Discworld mood but this book is surprisingly [as for Pratchett] tough. It's full of actual references, and little of Discworld magic we all know and love.. Still this, book, although very different from the whole series, is fun to read. Science, physic, has never been so fun. Anyways, maybe I will have some more time to read it later but now I have to catch up with the project. It's due tomorrow, and I have to rewrite everything :( Till then, bye bye

Good times/bad times

OOOOooooh yeeaaaah. That's more like it. I feel... good.. tired but I enjoyed the evening very very much. What can I say. I went to the club, I met some friends, some old friends and some really old friends, and I had shitload of fun. After I came back home, I had some stomach problems, but this is small price to pay I guess. Anyways. I'm off to take a bath and then to manifestation against occupying Iraq. Till then, bye bye

Just came back from Ocelot circus performance. If you like Cirque du Soleil like acts, this is perfect for you, and if you live in Austria or Italy watch out cause it's comming your way... OK, it's half past 11, and I should be heading out to the club to be there at 1AM or so, have some fun, meet some people, engage in some illegal activities and come back with nice memories.. till then bye bye

Keep on rocking in the free world

Hell, last entry went to hell, and I was far too lazy to type it in again, so there's a 3 day gap already. What's new in Jackal's world? Nut much. Night and Kuczko came by yesterday to watch some movies, we watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Office Space. Both very enjoyable comedies. I had 2 beers and went to sleep. That's that. Tonight I'm heading out to see some circus [wheee for real! I'm a big (or rather wide) kid!] and then to the club to bounce a little to some psychedelic music. Party is called 'Acid Test 3'... go figure... While my brain will be frying from all these exciting things that will surround, astonish and surprise me thru the night.. At least that's the plan. My plan usually includes to pick up some cute girl... and that's the part that fails every single time.. On similar note, I supposed to see my nice neighbour this week and I failed again, ouch, weekend is ruled out since she goes to suburbs to see parents, so maybe next week.. till then, bye bye.

Hell. I think I know how it feels man.. I'm heading that road to somewhere that I gotta go.. I don't know why but I have to go down that road. Long and windy road, sometimes down the hill, sometimes straight up. Along I meet strangers and acquaintances.

Interesting thought..

I've been searching for happiness constantly thru contact with people. Maybe that's why it's so annoying. Maybe I don't need to be with people, but on the contrary I need to be alone for a bit. Maybe I need to take some time off. Go to some secluded spot in the mountains, far from the people, not only I know but from from all of the people. And just be. Just read some books, take dog for a walk, breath the air, forget about those dreadful things that happen in the world.. That just might be the answer, don't you think? :) oi, till then

Uninteresting day

Cause? Nothing :) Nothing perticular happened. I went to work, though I still feel little bit dizzy, but who cares? Not my boss, not my bosses boss, not my bosses bosses... you get the picture.
Anyways. Today I supposed to write some due exam, but I just wasn't ready, plus I didn't really want to see all people at uni. Those I want to see, I can see everyday and that's cool. Today is said to be last warm day of this summer, and from now on it will get only colder and colder. No, that's not optimistic either. I don't fance winter too much, I don't go skiing (no cash and no skills), I'm too big to make a snowman and angels in the snow.. And only snow-involving activity I engage during winter is falling into while drunk (and this can be quite bad for ones health too). OK, it's almost 9PM and something's good on the telly comming up. Feeling better.. a bit

Well, if there is one thing I absolutely love about my company is health service. They need healthy employees, thus they pay for private medical center. I got really sick yesterday, and I went in the evening to see the doctor. I got some advice and antibiotics prescriptions.
Anyways. I'm on unwanted diet thanks to what turned out indeed to be a flu. I haven't eaten in few days anything that I haven't returned afterwards. And funny enough I'm not that hungry.
I'm listening to Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels soundtrack. It's fun fun fun. Nice passover from catchy jungle-like 'Walk this land' by EZ Rollers thru rocking Iggy Pop to simply funny things like Junior Murvin and Pete Wingfield.

sick puppy

Instead of getting better, I feel way worse. I have shivers, and such. I hope I will get better by tomorrow housewarming party of a friend of mine. But anyways. I play CS 1.6 a lot recently, and I have to say, though Steam is kinda weak link, I like new CS very very much. Uhkay. I'm off. If you want to reach me - call me. If you don't - don't :)

God damn flu or something

That's what I really needed :(
A flu.. or something.. Sore throat, mild cold, headache.. I hate this. But I can't take a day off cause I shuold be doing my job..

In other news I'm 500 zl behind to come out of the debt for the school and DTH company. And I should finally pay bills for cable tv & internet access. My entire life is based on earning money and spending money. But I don't have any other idea for a living.. yet.. Any ideas welcome ;)

workday dawns in jackal's world

Now it's time for little fun. I can't say I worked my guts off today, maybe I even slacked little too much, but I simply cannot swing into work mood. I definatelly need some time off. Or maybe contrary I've been slacking off far too much lately and I need to get my sh*t together and work harder. Believe me, I'm the last person to know that stuff.
In other news, again I'm up for some project that probably won't stand a chance with reality. But what the hell :) Anyways. World awaits new brave ideas. Till then I'm off to home. Some dinner would be in order, then maybe some beer.. that might be fun..

Warsaw, city of beautiful women

Oh my, oh my.
Many things have been said about girls in Warsaw, and in Poland in general, but I have to drop in my 2 cents. Riding late to work this morning was really enjoyable. Girls girls girls. And how gorgeous they were. Blondes, brunettes and mmm... redheads... smiling, joking or just minding their business.
You don't have to go to the club to look at beautiful girls. Just get on the tram, bus or just walk down the street... You'll be amazed. I know I am. This has been a nice start of the day. Let's see how it grows older how will it be.

The evening is over

Another day at the office. First one in four days. You might call it long weekend, for me it's.. well it would be too much to say that it's vacation. Close but no cookie. I need some time off and I will take some time off as soon as those fucking projects finish. THEN I will get some rest.. maybe :-) This is first entry. Dunno if I will keep it up and running, but since Google make it so easy to publish blogs you may just see more and more stuff comming.
